The Sunshine Coast Airport is approximately half way between Caloundra and Noosa, just north of Maroochydore. The Sunshine Coast Airport accommodates regular jet services from Sydney and Melbourne, with connections from other capital cities.
Rail
Regular Queensland Rail electric train services operate to and from Brisbane. The main Sunshine Coast station is at Nambour.
Road
The Bruce Highway is the main road link to Brisbane in the south and to Far North Queensland Travelling times by road – Brisbane to Caloundra: 1 hour, Brisbane to Maroochydore: 1 hour 15 minutes, Brisbane to Noosa: 1 hour 45 minutes, Brisbane to Gympie (Cooloola Coast): 3 hours, Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast: 2 hours 30 minutes.
